This particular project was a full refurbishment of a stone cottage property in the picturesque area of Saddleworth.
The property needed a full refurbishment throughout to bring it up-to-date. The work has been quite exstensive, from a full damp proof course, new ceilings, a full rewire and central heating being installed.
The existing bathroom was changed into a bedroom, the existing downstairs toilet was made into a cloakroom. The existing utility room was made into a shower room and other rooms throughout the property have been reconfigured.
Reconfiguration and plastered rooms
The main downstairs utility room was reconfigured into a shower room and new bathroom installed after reconfiguring the layout. The main lounge as you can see from the pictures was then redecorated after all the plastering had dried thoroughly.
These types of projects we are use to, especially with the older period type properties. The main aim is to maximise the potential of the property without compromising the true characteristics of the period building.
